We were up very early and climbed 500m to reach
the "airport/heli pad" just above Namche.
It was worth it for the views.... |

Managed to get the chopper out, just before fog set in.
It took three trips for the whole group, direct into Lukla airport .... |

... where the first group then managed to get straight
on a flight to Kathmandu.
Unfortunately this was also the last flight that day. Guess which group I was in ... mmmm |

So we made up for it - Wayne had booked a
brilliant hotel in Lukla. (Thanks!)
It was cocktail hour all night. |
